Also heal all as much stress as possible on your Shieldbreaker during camp and give her some -X% stress buffs (not 100% sure if they work on the nightmare sequence, but I think they do). Bring lots of bandages and antidotes too since snakes inflict both. If possible, complete the dungeon task before camping so that even if the nightmare goes horribly wrong, at least you can return to the Hamlet victorious. Prepare your party specifically for that as that will likely be the hardest thing in that run. One thing to realise is you should do them on an easier dungeon run. The nightmare ambush is a bit annoying, I agree. Since she has so many blight-inflicting skills, she's great for Ruins and Cove enemies especially, which are naturally vulnerable to it. All those stressors, fusiliers, and fungal markers hiding at the back can be brought forward and destroyed quickly by your powerful front rank people (or simply moved to where they can't use their deadly attacks). Puncture is great for pulling back row enemies forward. Just make sure you have at least one skill that can move you back (I think Impale is slightly better than Adder's Kiss since it hits everyone and inflicts blight on them all) and you're good to go. I don't use her de-stealth or blocking abilities quite as much, though they have their own situational uses too.īut for everyday dungeon adventuring, I find those other 5 abilities better. And Captivate is great for inflicting blight on pos 2 and 3 enemies. I use Pierce or Puncture to move forward, and then Impale or Adder's Kiss to move backward. I usually prefer to place her on position 2 and to have her dance to and from position 1.
